Major downtime advisory!

We will be increasing the bandwidth of our servers' connection to the Internet (to 100Mbit, for those who care to know) and upgrading our database servers in the process. This is necessary to accommodate the increased loads that we currently experiencing and will allow for future growth without a decline in the performance or reliability of the system.

In order to do this, however, we need to close down Mo'time for about 14 hours!! That's our best estimate. To coordinate with our servers' housing service, their technicians and ours, we must do it this Monday, February 13th at 16:00 (4:00 p.m.) GMT until Tuesday, February 14th at 06:00 (6:00 a.m.) GMT. We'll be up all night... During that time, your blogs will not be visible, you will not be able to post and Mo'time will be offline. Get out and take a walk!

Since we have bloggers from all around the world, here are a few links to help you figure out when the downtime will happen in your time zone:

This pause in our service may be followed by a few shorter downtimes in the days to come, depending on how the work goes. Please excuse the inconvenience and rest assured that this is being done to make Mo'time faster, more reliable and better able to handle future growth!
