Happy Chinese New Year! 新年快樂

Get out your abacus! Chinese New Year (春節 Chūnjíe, 農曆新年 Nónglì Xīnnián or 過年 Gùonián), also known as the Lunar New Year or the Spring Festival, one of the traditional Chinese holidays, is celebrated on the first day of the first month of the Chinese calendar, which falls on the day on which the second new moon after the day on which the winter solstice occurs, unless there is an intercalary eleventh or twelfth month in the lead-up to the New Year. In this case, the New Year falls on the third new moon after the Solstice. Kung hei fat choi everybody!
