Optimization of commenting system

In an effort to speed up Mo'time, so that the pages load faster, we are trying to lighten the strain on our servers. Some of the heaviest lifting comes from inquiries to the database whenever you click on a "permalink" to a post or view the comments -- both in the popup version and the "inline" version of same-page comments.

Later today, the following changes will be made, with the sincere hope that it will speed up the blogging and commenting experience...

The inline comments will be most effected. Instead of seeing the text area for comment writing right underneath the comment list, there will be another button to click ("Leave a comment") and the comment editor will appear in a little popup window. Write your comment and click the publish button.

Your comment will be added immediately to the blog. Naturally, anybody visiting the blog after you click publish, will see it immediately. You will be able to see it the next time you refresh that page.

Comments in popup will be changed even more minimally. When you leave a comment, you'll see it immediately in popup. To see the rest of the comment thread once again, just click the link to do so.

We are hoping that these changes will result in a much snappier blogging performance.

It looks great! I like the new system. It didn't change anything asthetically on my blog so I'm 100% on board. Thanks as always for the updates.
