Spam control for comments

By default, to prevent spam comments, anonymous commenters will have to view, decipher and enter the text they see in a little graphic box before publishing their comments. This function is known as a Captcha, "Completely Automated Public Turing test to tell Computers and Humans Apart." HA!

You can choose to turn off this protection on your blog by navigation to this page of your dashboard:

Blogs -> Connections -> Access (this button is now in the right hand column, it used to be the third level tab on the "old" platform). Just click "No" in the "Show captcha in comment form" area, then "Save changes" at the bottom of the page.

If you then have trouble with spam comments, simply turn it back on.
